Basketry Workshops

One-to-One or Group Workshops With Boo Dyer

Boo delivers basketry tuition on a one-to-one basis or as workshops for groups of all ages. The sizes of workshops are usually limited to up to ten students per group to enable those taking part to get the most out of the session. One-to-one tuition can also be arranged as the perfect gift for somebody who wishes to try their hand at basketry for the first time.

To enquire about one of her workshops or one-to-one sessions, please fill out the form below and Boo will get back to you as soon as possible. If you are enquiring about the next available group workshop, don't forget to sign up to our Newsletter where these are often advertised.

Teaching Methods

Boo's teaching with students of all ages is based upon a strong belief that practical skill and craft-based learning are crucial in a world where intellect and the senses can be over-stimulated. At Ringwood Waldorf School she has taught week-long workshops as part of the accredited Upper School curriculum, assisting students in entering fully into life. On her one-to-one sessions, meanwhile, students of all ages consistently remark on the therapeutic benefits of a days weaving.

I had a wonderful day weaving my first basket! Thank you, Boo Dyer, for your time and company. You brought out my creative side brilliantly. Very chuffed with the end product! I can highly recommend a day’s weaving with Boo to calm the soul.

You are amazing. The children only achieved this because of your teaching. We are all so impressed by your work here at the school.

Class 10 really enjoyed their week making baskets with you, and we were incredibly impressed by the work that they produced.
